Introduction

Brother Marcel Memorial School is one of the  Bangla & English medium based on national curriculum school for the children of improvised family that were started by Professor & Old Placidian Mr Suman Dutta.He  established in 2016 after the death of  Brother Marcel.The schools were used to educate the community of the regions which they served to give them the advantages of education in the society. They were also used to promote the conversion of people especially from the poor who saw the schools as an added benefit for their children. Throughout recent history, the success of such schools was due in part to what the educated classes saw as the failure of the public education system. Brother Marcel memorial school as well as similar schools filled the gap between what was seen by the educated and affluent members of society as the best education for obtaining the most desirable jobs in the government and business, and what the public education offered.As of 2020, Principal Liton Kumar Sen and vice principal Lisa Robertson conducting the academic sector including 20 teachers and 4 staff  with 250 students .Due to excellent academic and administrative rules and regulations ,the number of students and popularity is increasing day by day.It is also the golden opportunity for under privileged students to get education including Bangla and English medium based on National curriculum at minimum cost.

After completing my academic session in 2002, I got some opportunities to work with children. I enjoyed this most.I felt sorrow when I observed the environment of school ,system of education ,lack of ingredients of education. From 2003, I have tried to help the children to work in different schools ,colleges and institutions.In our country ,children are always deprived of their basic needs.I try to ensure their basic needs .From this mission and co-operation , love and respect of Brother Marcel during student life of Saint Placid’s School, I established Brother Marcel Memorial School in 2016.It will be valuable confirmation that our practice of systematic teaching ,respect and love, stillness and mindfulness and other strong values which have always been characterized in “Brother Marcel Memorial School “ are indeed a recipe for success as well as being valuable in own right .I am sure that each student here will find a sense of joy, a love for learning to make the attainment of personal goal and career advance and lasting happiness .I wish God’s abundant blessings for manifold success of “Brother Marcel Memorial School”. Parents should always in mind that their children should never be permitted to act in harmony with sure moral laws, they will succeed in life to build their character, good habit, efficiency and self reliance.
